Nigel Dean Technical Editor of Kit Car and Cobra Magazine

Welcome to www.nigeldean.co.uk, a website developed to complement the work I undertake within the kit and specialist automotive industries. Currently I write extensively for both Kit Car and Cobra magazine in the capacity of Technical Editor, while also providing management consultancy for automotive and engineering businesses. In addition, every three years or so, I get my hands dirty and build a rather special car for my own personal pleasure. This part of my life still strictly remains a hobby and as you will see from my site, has resulted in some rather amazing machinery.

Please feel free to navigate this site and in particular read about my last two supercar builds: a 180 mph Ultima GTR and my outrageous NOS injected 5.8 litre V8 powered Cobra recreation. To assist those of you building your own machines, I have included a features section where you will find a selection of informative articles.

Finally, and most importantly, I’m creating yet another one-off show car. However, for the first time, to complement the serialisation of this build in Kit Car magazine, those of you visiting this site can enjoy an additional insight into my garage antics as I create my ultimate project to date
